 Binomial Distribution in R: (R Tutorial 3.1)

In this video, you will learn how to calculate probabilities for binomial random variables in R.

First, we will introduce the binomial random variable that is used in this video and its characteristics; then we will show you how to calculate probabilities for the variable using the "pbinom" or "dbinom" functions.

Next, you will learn to use the "dbinom" command in R to calculate probability for the binomial random variable and to have multiple probabilities returned in R for the variable using the "dbinom" command.

Later in the tutorial we will calculate the cumulative probabilities for the binomial random variable using the "sum" command and the "pbinom" command.

Finally, we will explain what "rbinom" and "qbinom" commands are in R and how to use them.
